This year’s forum, Health Data for All of Us: Our Health Data Journey will guide participants through the full spectrum of the health data journey. Featuring speakers and panelists representing every stage, from data collection, to management, access and use, analysis, and knowledge mobilization, this participatory and engaging forum will offer a unique opportunity to explore how health data practices can drive better health outcomes for all. In 2024, HDRN Canada held our second annual hybrid public forum, Health Data for All of Us: Earning Trust Through Transparency, in Montreal and online. It featured a stellar lineup, including keynote speakers Dr. Antoine Boivin and Farin Shore, along with health data researchers, data equity advocates and patient partners from across Canada committed to building trust among the public in the access, use and sharing of health data. HDRN Canada hosted its inaugural public forum in 2023 to facilitate dialogue about health data access, use and sharing in Canada. Health Data for All of Us: Sharing Ideas & Priorities took place in Winnipeg and online, and featured keynote speaker Rachel Plachcinsky, as well as HDRN Canada Scientific Director Dr. Kim McGrail and other network members, including Dr. Amy Freier, Dr. Nathan Nickel and Julia Burt.
